Oasis 47 is a group of friendly folks who hail from the Left Coast of California, up to Canada and continue to the East Coast. We are nomadic and interactive. As you wander up and down the playa, stop at our space and learn to customize a bronze pendant, or demystify the subtle soldering tips of EL Wire. Come and visit in our chill space and throw back a tasty chainsaw margarita. Oasis 47 has been inviting visitors since 2005, so join us in a story and rest your weary feet.

There are 35 of us this year in Black Rock City.

About us: Oasis 47 began in 2005. Its name came from 4 women and 7 men who created a friendly chill space for weary playa travelers. Over the years some things have remained constant and some have changed. Our commitment to Leave No Trace is an important part of who we are. We have dedicated ourselves to live an artful and excellent life. Like nomadic camps, our members have been as high as 95 and as low as 8. We change like sand dunes, we shift and our shadows grow longer and shorter.
